personalized coachingDavid Byrd, founder and CEO of David Byrd Consulting, LLC, is a master of effective leadership and works closely with leaders and their organizations worldwide utilizing a system of personal management and achievement called the Next Level Achievement System™.  He is a best-selling author with four published books, a sought after speaker, and leadership development consultant.  His best-selling books have positively affected thousands of readers by showing them how to become better leaders, increase their bottom-line profits, live more balanced lives, and drive their business to the next level. David has more than 35 years of experience working with top business executives and their organizations. Helping leaders and their organizations get to that coveted next level has been the cornerstone of his life’s work.

David completed both his undergraduate and graduate work at the University of South Carolina. He began his career as a high school football coach and later went on to coach at the collegiate level. He began his career in business and leadership development in 1979 as a consultant with Leadership Management International. LMI was founded by Mr. Paul J. Meyer a true pioneer in the human potential development industry for over 50 years. David  was invited to join the LMI home office executive staff in 1981 and relocated to Texas, where he served in an executive capacity until 1999 when he became the President of LMI. He served as President of that consulting company until 2009. Mr. Paul J. Meyer was his friend and mentor for over 35 years.

In 2009, David launched David Byrd Consulting, LLC, providing businesses, teams, and organizations with practical, proven systems that get measurable results. He and his organization use a development model called the Next Level Achievement System™ which focuses on leadership development, organizational planning, and personal next level growth.

David is very active in his church, First United Methodist Church of Waco, Texas, where he has served as an adult Sunday school teacher for over 25 years. His first book, Lessons for a Lifetime, is a summary of his experiences as an adult Sunday school teacher. David lives in Waco, Texas, with his wife Mary. He has two daughters and five grandchildren.

Jenni Byrd Grier, President

112015part1DSC_0182_11_12_2015_201626_Sent to NeriumJenni Byrd Grier realized her dream goal when she joined the team at David Byrd Consulting in 2014 after serving as Director of Customer Experience and Marketing at Duke Energy in Charlotte, N.C.  During her 13+ years at Duke Energy, Jenni completed the Duke Energy/University of Chapel Hill Strategic Leadership Program and the Charlotte Leadership Program.   Previously, she worked as project manager at Tegrasis Technology Corporation and in the management training program at Sealand Service, Inc. in Charlotte and was a marketing assistant at PMSC in Hennef, Germany.  Jenni grew up in Waco, Texas and attended the University of South Carolina, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing and Management degree.  She then went on to receive her Master of International Business Studies at the University of South Carolina after completing Intensive Business Language Training in Cologne, Germany.  While at Carolina, Jenni was elected into Phi Beta Kappa, Mortar Board Honor Society and Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society; after graduation she served on the USC Board of Visitors and the Darla Moore School of Business Board of Advisors.  Jenni and her husband, Rob, have two daughters and are actively involved in their church and community.

Rob Grier

Grier,RobProfileNov2015_sent to Nerium (2)Rob joined David Byrd Consulting in 2012 after a successful business career in sales, business development, and finance. A graduate of the The Citadel with a degree in Business Administration, Rob started selling software in the U.S., and experienced an Initial Public Offering(IPO). Rapid company growth catapulted him at age 23 to move overseas and open the first European office for Datastream. Living in the U.K. he grew the customer base 400+% year one. His results at Datastream created a platform enabling Rob to live across the globe, specializing in Business Development for numerous technology and emerging industry firms. He specialized in creating, growing, and developing systematic replicable sales models while implementing and training the defined processes. After his father was diagnosed with Parkinson’s/Lewy Body dementia he moved from Seattle to be closer to home. In Charlotte, NC after seeing firsthand the devastation a debilitating health condition could cause, he became an independent Investment Advisor providing financial planning and insurance services to businesses and business owners, managing their personal assets while creating and implementing financial plans. After 6 years he sold his business to join a client in the energy industry where he ran Sales providing engineering data studies and performance data to businesses in the Energy market. In 2011 Rob took an intentional sabbatical from his business career to be a “domestic engineer” and help his two young daughters during their formative childhood years. Married to Jenni Byrd Grier, Rob has served as Vice Chair of the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas and is an active in his church and community.

Cassie Findley

cassie Bio Pic (2)Cassie joined David Byrd Consulting in 2015.  Cassie holds a bachelor’s degree in Education and a master’s degree in Heath & Wellness, both from Baylor University. Her in-depth knowledge of business, training/coaching and health and wellness education has allowed her to serve in prominent positions in business, education and training fields. For fifteen years, Cassie worked at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She served as the Assistant Dean for Student Life and Director of Health Education and Wellness. She continues to teach Franchising and Strategic Management in the Business School and Examined Life Wellness class in the Honors College. Cassie began working with Curves International as the Director of Training and Research and was later promoted to Vice President. She was responsible for the study of kinesiology, nutrition and fitness program enhancement in domestic and international markets, and serves as the liaison for the largest, privately funded research program in the United States. During her time at Curves she contributed to the New York Times best selling book Curves and was the co-author of Too Busy to Live. After leaving Curves, Cassie was the CLO for 360Solutions, a leadership development company that includes training, consulting and curriculum development. Cassie developed twelve new interactive Leadership Development workbooks and High Performance Leadership app for their 500+ domestic and international strategic partners.
